Walking around...

12_05_05, originally uploaded by xdrjohnx.

I had lunch at a good Thai restaurant today. About two years ago I had the spiciest meal of my life at this restaurant. A bit odd considering the places I've been to. I had ordered red curry chicken "thai hot" and it was actually painful. I couldn't even finish a third of it - I was crying after about two minutes. And an even worse pain followed a few hours later...

Speaking of painful food, we ate at Ruby Tuesday's for dinner and the turkey burger I ordered was goddam raw. I took two big bites out of it. By the time they came out with a replacement, I was rather nauseous.

Between lunch and dinner I walked around with my Thai flipcards. I followed the golfcart paths (there's about 80 miles of them in PTC) and I took a detour through a raised wetlands walkway.

That's me trying to look like I'm studying my flipcards. I just set up the camera and ran over there... I left about five minutes later because some massive black ants were very interested in my feet.

So things are a bit slow in Peachtree City. It's OK, though. As long as I can get out and walk around by myself I'll be peachy, peachy.
